The Young Voices of Indianapolis with Director Marian Bender

Concert Season 2008-2009

7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2008 Mass of the Children , featuring guest ensemble, Voce, under the direction of Charles Goehring, and Young Voices of Indianapolis, under the direction of Marian Bender. Fishers Chamber Orchestra will combine forces with VOCE and YVI to present John Rutter's beautiful Mass of the Children. This concert will take place at The Promise Church.

3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008 Holiday Classic The talented dancers from Fishers' own G. Scotten Talent Center will join us in Tchaikovsky's beloved Nutcracker Suite. Some traditional Christmas music and singalongs will round out this holiday delight. This concert will take place at the Heartland Center.

3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2009 Music in Indiana History FCO Concertmaster Davis Brooks will be taking a page out of history. Fishers got its start as a railroad town. Many Hoosiers in the 19th century heard classical music for the first time when musicians traveled by railroad to towns and performed music by Mozart and Beethoven, as well as classic American fiddle tunes. This concert will take place at Conner Prairie, Lilly Theatre.

7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2009 Young Artistry, featuring our third annual Jongsun Lim Young Artist Competition Winners. Thrill to the performances of this year's energetic new talents! This concert will take place at The Promise Church.
