Community Players Directory

There are many professional and non-professional musicians in Fishers and the surrounding areas. You may be an accountant by day, but want to have some fun playing your saxophone by night. Or perhaps you are a professional-level musician who happens to have a day job. We want to give you an opportunity to enjoy music. Sign up for our online musician's "dating service." No, we're not really helping you find a date—we are helping you find like-minded people with whom you can enjoy playing chamber music. And when we have enough participants, we will organize a Community Players Festival for which your group may perform.

What We Will Provide:

• Our Community Players Directory - a way to find other musicians in the area
  
• Links to sources for sheet music and recordings
  
• If desired, professional coaching from our musicians, for a fee
  
• An opportunity to play on our Community Players Festival

What You Need to Do:

• Sign up! to be included in our Community Players Directory. Click here for an application: community_players_application
  
• After we send you a Community Players Directory, find and contact musicians on the list (be mindful of available music - not much is written for a group that includes 4 bassoons, violin, and saxophone, for example)
  
• Set up rehearsals - this can be in a person's private home, a church, etc.
  
• Purchase music (or borrow from a library)
  
• Request professional coaching, if desired
  
• Have fun!
